/second, based in Leuven, Belgium, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. For anything related to your data, write to thomas@slashsecond.be.

Only what you give us through the contact form:

• your name, company, role and email address;
• the type of project, an optional expected launch date, and your message;
• the fact that you gave consent, and when.

To protect the form against abuse, we briefly keep a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address to count submissions. It cannot be used to identify you and is deleted within 24 hours. Our hosting platform also keeps standard technical logs.

We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to prepare a possible collaboration. The legal basis is your consent and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Abuse protection relies on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.

We do not add you to a newsletter, build a profile, or sell or share your data for marketing.

Submissions are stored in Microsoft Azure data centres within the European Union. Emails — the notification to us and the confirmation to you — are sent through Azure Communication Services. Microsoft acts as our processor under a data processing agreement. We use no other third parties for this website.

Enquiries are deleted automatically after 24 months at the latest, and sooner if you ask. If we end up working together, the information that becomes part of that relationship is kept for as long as the relationship and our legal obligations require.

This website sets no cookies, runs no advertising or analytics trackers, and loads no third-party scripts. Fonts are served from our own domain.

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to withdraw your consent. Email thomas@slashsecond.be and we’ll act on it within one month.

If you believe we’re handling your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — dataprotectionauthority.be.

If this notice changes, the new version will be published here with a new date. Material changes will never apply retroactively to data you have already shared.
